The iconic xylophonist, Udo Mariam who was kidnapped last week on his way to Abuja, has been released by the kidnappers.
The abductors demanded N30 million naira and later reduced the ransom to 3 Million Naira after so much appeal by his wife and family.
According to information gathered by this reporter, Udo Mariam was set free on Thursday night and his wife took to her WhatsApp account on Friday morning to announce the release of her husband.
Elated Mrs Monica Felix Okon thanked all the friends, sympathisers and entertainers who contributed to his release.
