Multiple road accidents claim four lives in Bauchi

No fewer than four people have lost their lives in multiple road crashes in Bauchi.

This was disclosed by Patrick Ikaba, the State Sector Commander of

the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

He revealed that six other persons sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accidents which occurred on Saturday.

The first accident reportedly occurred in Polchi village along Toro.

Ikaba said one person lost his life and one other sustained injuries in the accident involving a tricycle that collided with a motorbike.

Ikaba added that on the same day, one person also lost his life along Darazo in Darazo-Kari road in Darazo Local Government Area of the state.

“The corpse and injured victims were taken to the General Hospital, Darazo,” he said.

Ikaba further revealed that two male adults also lost their lives while three others sustained various degrees of injuries in an auto crash that occurred in Tashar Mai Alewa along Bauchi-Dass around 7:00 pm same day.
