Zimbabwe vs Nigeria: Tella makes Super Eagles debut as Moffi leads attack

Super Eagles head coach has opted for a 4-3-3 formation in this afternoon’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho kept his position behind the sticks.

Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi will operate from the right-back and left-back positions respectively.

Peseiro kept faith with Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey in central defence.

The trio of Frank Onyeka, Joseph Aribo and Alex Iwobi will run the midfield.

Bayer Leverkusen will make his debut, with Moses Simon as the other winger.

Terem Moffi is preferred to lead the attack ahead of Victor Boniface and Umar Sadiq.

The encounter at the Huye Stadium, Butare will kick-off at 2pm Nigeria time.
