One Adamu Abdulahi, 33, was on Thursday docked in an Iyaganku Magistrates\u2019 Court, Ibadan, for allegedly possessing one AK-47 live ammunition.<\/p>\n

Abdulahi, of no fixed address, was charged with unlawful possession of live ammunition.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor, Insp. Philip Amusan, told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence on October 26, at about 10:30 am along Ojoo\/Akinyele road, Ibadan.<\/p>\n

Amusan alleged that Abdulahi unlawfully had in his possession the live ammunition which he could not satisfactorily account for.<\/p>\n

He said the defendant committed an offence contrary to the criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.<\/p>\n

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.<\/p>\n

The Magistrate, Mr I. O. Olanipekun granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.<\/p>\n

He adjourned the case untill January 25, 2024 for hearing.<\/p>\n
