Former Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi has sent a message of hope to Nigerians during the Christmas celebration.<\/p>\n

Amaechi, in a statement, encouraged all Nigerians, regardless of faith and creed, to be hopeful that \u201chelp will ultimately come with belief and perseverance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former transport minister noted that this Christmas has come at a \u201cvery critical time in our shared history.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe challenges are enormous. With increasing poverty and despair at this point in time, we are in dire straits, which is evident.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, the spirit of Christmas signals hope nevertheless; the hope that crying may linger all night, but definitely there\u2019ll be joy at dawn,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
