Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has suggested why his team lost 1-0 against Bayern Munich in Tuesday\u2019s UEFA Champions League tie at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Kingsley Coman\u2019s second half goal gave Bayern Munich the victory against Man United.<\/p>\n

The result means Ten Hag\u2019s side are out of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Ten Hag believes Manchester United\u2019s depleted squad played a major role in their defeat to Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

According to him, his players also made individual mistakes against Thomas Tuchel\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Ten Hag said: \u201cThe players gave everything, you saw the spirit and, as I said, I have to credit the team; big compliment for the way they worked together as a team against this good Bayern side.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut, of course, when the game is going, you need energy from the bench, and especially in the frontline, the options were limited.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ve had some good performances but then also we made mistakes, individual errors from players,\u201d he added<\/p>\n
