Miss Universe\u2019s first runner-up, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, has shared her opinion on respect and being liked.<\/p>\n
According to her, being respected is more important than being liked.<\/p>\n
Adetshina stated this while responding to a question from a judge during the finals of the 73rd Miss Universe Competition at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel like being respected is more important than being liked. We live in a society where we often don\u2019t feel respected because of who we are, and I feel like when you respect yourself, you respect others around you and respect is really important,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina emerged as the first runner-up after losing the crown to Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig.<\/p>\n
Her exceptional performance and grace captivated both judges and audiences.<\/p>\n
