Former Chelsea striker, Daniel Sturridge, has hailed Mohamed Salah following his performance in Liverpool\u2019s 2-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Reds came from a goal down to beat their visitors 2-1 at Anfield.<\/p>\n
Ferdi Kadioglu had put Brighton in front after being set up by Danny Welbeck in the 14th minute.<\/p>\n
Cody Gakpo netted the equalizer for Liverpool in the 69th minute, while Mohamed Salah scored the winning goal for the Reds with a left-footed shot in the 72nd minute.<\/p>\n
Following the win at Anfield, Sturridge took to his official X account and hailed the Egyptian for his display against Brighton.<\/p>\n
The former Manchester City star wrote, \u201cSalaaahhhhhhh!! When he cuts in like that, his far post whip is lethal!\u201d<\/p>\n
Liverpool are now two points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League table following the Cityzens\u2019 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth.<\/p>\n
Arsenal also lost 1-0 to Newcastle United on the same day and would drop out of top four if Chelsea beat Manchester United on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n
