Four soldiers from the Lebanese Army have died in the conflict between the Hezbollah militia and Israel.<\/p>\n

Also, 12 other Lebanese soldiers have been killed while not on duty.<\/p>\n

The Lebanese army said two soldiers were recently killed by Israeli fire while on duty at a military post in Kafra, a town in the southern part of the country.<\/p>\n

Lebanon\u2019s military was seen as weak and under-resourced, which was not directly involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah.<\/p>\n

It has partially withdrawn from positions along the country\u2019s southern border with Israel since the Israeli ground offensive began two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

The Army, however, returned fire when one of its bases in Bint Jbeil in the south came under Israeli attack.<\/p>\n
