Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, Dr Paul Enenche has ascribed the economic and other challenges bedeviling the nation to poor leadership, stating that Nigeria remains one of the most blessed nations on earth.<\/p>\n
The fiery clergy made the remark on Tuesday during a live service organized by the church to mark the nation\u2019s 64th Independence Day anniversary.<\/p>\n
According to him, the country is endowed with several natural resources that ought to have enriched the citizens.<\/p>\n
He, however, lamented that \u201cdifferent levels of leadership in this country don\u2019t care about whatever happens\u201d.<\/p>\n
Pastor Enenche led the congregation in a special prayer for the country, insisting that \u201cGod needs to restore the glory of this nation\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cI don\u2019t need anybody to prophesy to me that Nigeria is one of the most blessed nations in the world.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no field of endeavour where a Nigerian is not competing with another person. In any subject and in any part of the world, whether in science, invention, technology, IT, medicine or in art.<\/p>\n
\u201cNigeria does not have to struggle with electricity if all resources in the country are harnessed. Everything is here, including gold. Why are we here?<\/p>\n
\u201cNobody in this nation is meant to be begging. Which kind of devil is on this ground? I don\u2019t want you to give up.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne prayer I usually pray is \u2018Lord, you put a deposit in this nation, please permit citizens of this nation to enjoy your blessings in their lifetime before Jesus comes\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy can\u2019t citizens of this country enjoy what God has deposited in their land? Everybody can do well and there will still be rich people\u201d.<\/p>\n
