Akpabio made this call in a message to Nigerians to mark the nation\u2019s 64th independence anniversary.<\/p>\n
Expressing optimism for a better Nigeria, the Senate President commended the spirit of Nigerians over the years.<\/p>\n
According to him, though the nation had been faced with numerous challenges, the citizens, however, had remained resolute and resilient.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy fellow countrymen and women, on behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate and indeed the 10th National Assembly.<\/p>\n
\u201cI heartily extend my warmest congratulations to each and every one of you on this momentous day.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday marks a significant milestone in our journey as a nation, and I am honoured and grateful to God to be a part of it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is axiomatic that as a nation, we\u2019ve faced numerous challenges, but our indomitable spirit has always prevailed.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom our earliest struggles for independence to the present day, we\u2019ve shown resilience and determination.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we move forward, I urge you to be patient and hopeful, our brightest days are ahead of us, and together, we\u2019ll build a prosperous nation that our children and future generations will be proud of.<\/p>\n
