A press release signed by Ifeanyi Ezeocha for the Abia State Commissioner for Health dated December 1, advised affected students to prepare themselves for the forthcoming exam.<\/p>\n
Though no further information was contained in the press release, DAILY POST gathered that over 300 students who participated in the previous exercise had been waiting for a date for the re-sit.<\/p>\n
A staff of the Abia State Ministry of Health who pleaded anonymity, told the Correspondent that the State government would ensure that the examination is conducted in a transparent environment.<\/p>\n
He said that as earlier promised by the State government, no extra cost would be paid by the Nursing students to retake the PTS exams.<\/p>\n
In addition, one of the students whose \u2018successful\u2019 results were cancelled by the State government, Michael Chidiebere has said he was not afraid of taking the exam for the second time, as according to him, he would still clear next week\u2019s exams in flying colours.<\/p>\n
Chidiebere, who maintained that his cancelled results were genuine, said he would use the second outing to prove his mettle once again.<\/p>\n
