Manchester City midfielder Rodri has given an honest verdict about the battle to win the 2024 Ballon d\u2019Or.<\/p>\n

The Spain international admitted that people are trying to push him to win the Ballon d\u2019Or this year, adding that he doesn\u2019t think about winning the prestigious individual prize.<\/p>\n

Rodri was among the 30-man players that was recently shortlisted for the Ballon d\u2019Or.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media ahead of Manchester City\u2019s Champions League tie with Inter Milan on Wednesday, Rodri said (via the BBC): \u201cI\u2019m very, very happy for everything that happened to me in the last years. Winning what Manchester City won and winning the Euros with my country is just a dream. It\u2019s a consequence of hard work, consistency and never giving up.<\/p>\n
