Former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has identified his former teammates Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry as the players who always make something special for the team on the pitch of play.<\/p>\n

Fabregas said he felt much stronger playing alongside Henry or Messi.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard played alongside Messi at Barcelona, and Henry at Arsenal during his career as a footballer.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Rest Is Football Podcast, Fabregas, who is currently the head coach of Serie A side Como, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThierry [Henry] I think together with Lionel Messi are the two players who I felt much stronger when I was on a football pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is like saying \u2018Okay, this could not be my day, the team could not play well\u2019 but you know you will always have Thierry Henry there to save the day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were games in the later part of my career, let\u2019s say the last 8-10 years, I didn\u2019t feel that any game was easy. Maybe when you are playing with Messi you can feel the confidence that he will make something special but always with Thierry.\u201d<\/p>\n
