The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has officially confirmed Comrade Yusuf Sarki Iya, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), as the new Auditor-General of Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n
This confirmation comes following his nomination by Governor Abdullahi Sule just a week ago.<\/p>\n
Speaker Danladi Jatau made the announcement on Monday after Comrade Iya appeared before the House for a screening session during the plenary in Lafia.<\/p>\n
The decision to confirm Iya\u2019s appointment was met with widespread approval among the assembly members, who praised his extensive experience and commitment to public service.<\/p>\n
