Yesufu commended the Nigerians who defied the security agencies and protested during the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria and one million-man march.<\/p>\n
Organizers of the protest had vowed to carry out a one-million-man march in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, to climax the 10 days #EndBadGovernance demonstrations on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The protesters among other things had demanded the return of fuel subsidy.<\/p>\n
DAILY POST reports that the protests turned violent in many states including Kano, Kanu, Plateau, Niger, Jigawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe and Borno with at least 15 persons reported dead, several injured and properties destroyed.<\/p>\n
Yesufu posted on X: \u201cI am so proud of Nigeria citizens who defied the brutality of the Nigerian security agents and kept protesting.<\/p>\n
