Operatives of the Delta State Police Command Rapid Response Squad on stop and search duty along Kwale Road have arrested four suspected armed robbers.<\/p>\n

The suspects include Savage Roland \u2018m\u2019 aged 26yrs, Clever Imonukore \u2018m\u2019 aged 29yrs, Isaac Umukoro, male, aged 49yrs, and Louis Opone \u2018m\u2019 aged 40yrs.<\/p>\n

They were arrested on 25th July 2024, at about 18;30hours, DAILY POST can report.<\/p>\n

The Police also recovered from the suspects, two brand new pump action guns.<\/p>\n

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement signed and sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.<\/p>\n

The Police image maker said, \u201cOn 25th July 2024, at about 1830hours, operatives of the Command\u2019s Rapid Response squad while on stop and search duty along Kwale road, intercepted a Lexus 350 SUV, and upon search of the vehicle, two brand new pump action guns were recovered.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cFour suspects namely; Savage Roland \u2018m\u2019 aged 26yrs from Afisere, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State, Clever Imonukore \u2018m\u2019 aged 29yrs, Isaac Umukoro \u2018m\u2019 aged 49yrs, and Louis Opone \u2018m\u2019 aged 40yrs were arrested.\u201d<\/p>\n

SP Edafe also said, \u201cinvestigation is ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
