Chelsea Manager, Enzo Maresca has hailed the Blues duo Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana following his side\u2019s pre-season friendly 2-2 draw against Wrexham at the Levi\u2019s Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Both Lavia and Fofona made their long-awaited return to the pitch during the game against Wrexham.<\/p>\n
The duo had an injury-derailed 2023-24 campaign with the former missing 43 games across all competitions because of an ankle and hamstring injury.<\/p>\n
Speaking during his post-match press conference, Maresca said (via Football London): \u201cBoth are very important. It is important for them to get minutes. I\u2019m happy for them. For one year without Wesley having any minutes.<\/p>\n
\u201c45 minutes for both is going to help them. Hopefully, we can have them both fit.\u201d<\/p>\n
