The governors, under the aegis of the Nigeria Governors\u2019 Forum, are meeting at the NGF secretariat in the nation\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n
According to Channels TV, some of the governors started arriving at the meeting venue at about 8 pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Governors Lawal Dauda of Zamfara, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, and Alex Otti of Abia States are already on ground.<\/p>\n
This is as the governors of Enugu, Peter Mbah and Borno States, Babagana Zulum, sent their deputies to represent them.<\/p>\n
The agenda of the meeting is currently not made public.<\/p>\n
However, it may not be unconnected to the planned nationwide protests scheduled for August 1 to 10.<\/p>\n
DAILY POST recalls that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume and the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, had earlier met with ministers over the planned protest.<\/p>\n
