Former Liverpool skipper, Jordan Henderson has picked his choice of the best player in the world this year.<\/p>\n

The England midfielder was provided the option of choosing between Spanish midfielder, Rodri and Jude Bellingham of England.<\/p>\n

Rodri and Bellingham are among the top favorites for this year\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or award following a brilliant individual campaign for club and country.<\/p>\n

Rodri was instrumental as Manchester City won the historic treble last year and also helped Pep Guardiola\u2019s side secure a fourth consecutive Premier League title win in 2024.<\/p>\n

The midfielder was named the Player of the Tournament as Spain won the European championship on Sunday.<\/p>\n

For Bellingham, the Englishman scored 23 goals and made 13 assists in his first season at Real Madrid, helping them lift La Liga and Champions League honours.<\/p>\n

The playmaker was also a part of Gareth Southgate\u2019s England squad that finished as runners-up at Euro 2024.<\/p>\n

In a video making the rounds online, several Ajax players were asked to predict this year\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or winner, including Henderson.<\/p>\n

Henderson, who left Saudi Arabia side, Al-Ettifaq to join Ajax in January, initially chose Rodri, but later asked if he could change his answer:<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to change my answer\u2026is that alright? Can I change?\u201d<\/p>\n

After being given the greenlight, Hernderson promptly said \u201cBellingham\u201d.<\/p>\n

Three other players also picked Bellingham, while the majority of them went with either Vinicius or Rodri.<\/p>\n
