The governor also drew attention to the bad condition of federal roads linking Gombe to neighboring states.<\/p>\n
Yahaya, who also serves as the Chairman of the Northern States Governors\u2019 Forum, recently met with the Minister of Works, David Umahi, in Abuja for the second time in an ongoing series of meetings over the rehabilitation of the roads.<\/p>\n
The dilapidated roads include Gombe-Bauchi, Gombe-Dukku-Darazo, Gombe-Biu, and Gombe-Bajoga-Potiskum.<\/p>\n
According to the governor, these roads are vital for regional development and national connectivity.<\/p>\n
Responding, Umahi stated that the move aligns with President Bola Tinubu\u2019s \u2018Renewed Hope Agenda,\u2019 which focuses on improving infrastructure to foster economic growth and enhance citizens\u2019 quality of life.<\/p>\n
