The Nigeria National League has debunked reports the 2024\/25 season will kick off in October.<\/p>\n
NNL\u2019s Chief Operating Officer, Emmanuel Attah said there are procedures to follow before announcing a date for a new season.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe cannot just stay in the office to decide the kick-off date of the League,\u201d he stated to the media.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to have the Annual General Meeting of the body where an appraisal of the last season will be done, and approval for the new season shall be effected.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t know where the kick-off date of October emanated from.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo the best of my knowledge we have not fixed any date for the kick-off of the NNL, when such happens, we will let everyone know.\u201d<\/p>\n
