The Osun State House of Assembly has passed into law a bill to establish the Osun State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission.<\/p>\n

According to a statement by Olamide Tiamiyu, the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Assembly, the bill was passed into law after the third reading by the House and a consequent voice vote on Tuesday during plenary.<\/p>\n

Tiamiyu added that the Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun also directed the Clerk, Simeon Amusan, to prepare the clean copy of the bill for Governor Ademola Adeleke\u2019s assent.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, \u201cThe Bill consists of 58 clauses and will provide a legal framework to fight corruption in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun expressed his confidence in the Bill, stating that it provides necessary tools to fight corruption and promote accountability in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
