Yakubu made the announcement of his departure from the Gombe-based outfit via social media.<\/p>\n
The former Enyimba player joined the Savannah Tigers during the mid-season transfer window last season.<\/p>\n
Yakubu is expected to move elsewhere to continue with his career path.<\/p>\n
\u201cI find it very difficult to say goodbye to my dear club, but in every journey there must come an end,\u201d he stated in his farewell message.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am now moving to the next chapter of my life; DOMA will forever remain in my heart, thanks to everyone who supports me from the beginning to the ending.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to go for a break now, and decide my next club. Good bye to everyone in Gombe State, I love you all.\u201d<\/p>\n
