Barcelona midfielder, IIkay Gundogan has named England as one of the favourites to win the Euro 2024.<\/p>\n

The Germany midfielder believes the Three Lions should not be underestimated.<\/p>\n

The former Manchester City captain spoke ahead of England\u2019s Round of 16 clash with Slovakia on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Athletic, Gundogan said:<\/p>\n

\u201cNever underestimate England. They finished top of the group and got the results. In these tournaments, that is a massive thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cGetting the results gives you confidence and motivation to play better.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cMaybe only France has a similar squad in terms of talent and potential. England are still among the favourites.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the knockouts, they are full of experience \u2014 but I can understand the criticism saying they could play better.\u201d<\/p>\n
