Former England striker, Wayne Rooney, has said he would like the Three Lions to beat Portugal in the Euro 2024 final.<\/p>\n
The Euro 2024 started last Friday in Germany.<\/p>\n
England have already won their first game against Serbia.<\/p>\n
Portugal, meanwhile, will face Czech Republic in their first group game on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Overlap, Rooney said:<\/p>\n
\u201cJust because of my experiences, I would say Portugal [as the team I want England to beat the most]. Broke me in 2004, I got sent off in 2006, and they beat us on penalties both times.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d love to see England beat Portugal in the final [of Euro 2024].\u201d<\/p>\n
