Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has appealed with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to name the 32km Guzape District Lot II Road after the late literary icon Chinua Achebe.<\/p>\n

He also asked the President to name another district road after J.P. Clark.<\/p>\n

Wike made the appeal during the commissioning of the 32km Guzape District Lot II Road in Abuja on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI want to appeal to you, just like what you did last time to some Nigerians who have in one way or another, particularly in writing, literary works, made the nation proud. People like Chinua Achebe, people like J.P. Clark.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour Excellency, I want to appeal to you, let this road be named after Chinua Achebe and there\u2019s another road within the same district that can be named against J.P. Clark.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an appeal to you. These are people that have contributed just like the Nobel Laureate did.\u201d<\/p>\n
