The Governor disclosed this on Wednesday during his one year anniversary ceremony in Gusau, the State capital.<\/p>\n
According to him, from inception of his administration to date, he has settled over N5 billion pension and gratuity backlogs.<\/p>\n
\u201cI inherited over thirteen billion Naira pension and gratuity backlog from the previous governments starting from 2012.<\/p>\n
\u201cI settled over five billion Naira pension and gratuity backlogs within one year in office and I will make sure every retired civil servant gets their gratuity and pension backlogs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Speaking further, Lawal reiterated that his administration was working round the clock to rescue the state socially and economically.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe sectors of security, education, youth empowerment, agriculture, health care, and good governance will continue to receive much emphasis as part of my administration\u2019s rescue mission,\u201d he assured.<\/p>\n
The Governor appealed to the people of the state to remain law abiding citizens and support the good policies and programs of his administration to actualise its dream.<\/p>\n
