Danjuma announced the disciplinary action in a statement by the Command\u2019s spokesman, Henry Okoye, stating that the officer\u2019s behaviour was \u201cshameful and unprofessional\u201d.<\/p>\n
The supervisory officer has also been issued an official query for lack of supervision.<\/p>\n
Aboki, who condemned the officer\u2019s actions, stated that the Command would not tolerate any form of extortion or misconduct by its personnel.<\/p>\n
He warned that supervisory officers who fail to carry out their oversight duties will face severe sanctions.<\/p>\n
The CP urged residents to continue supporting the police and other security agencies with timely and actionable information to ensure public safety.<\/p>\n
