Jose Mourinho is desperate to be handed a second chance at Manchester United.<\/p>\n
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho would even \u201cwalk\u201d to Old Trafford to replace Erik ten Hag.<\/p>\n
The Portuguese manager was sacked by United in December 2018.<\/p>\n
But it is believed that Mourinho has a good relationship with United part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.<\/p>\n
It remains to be see if that is enough to land him the job after being fired by AS Roma in January.<\/p>\n
The report adds that Mourinho is not expecting an approach from United, who are reluctant to reappoint the 61-year-old at this stage.<\/p>\n
Ten Hag\u2019s position is under fierce scrutiny after the team suffered their 13th Premier League defeat of the season in a humiliating 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n
