Nigeria\u2019s leading commercial bank, First Bank of Nigeria Limited has appointed Olusegun Alebiosu as its acting Managing Director with effect from April 2024.<\/p>\n

First Bank\u2019s acting company secretary, Adewale Arogundade, disclosed this on Sunday in a statement.<\/p>\n

Alebiosu was until this appointment the executive director, chief risk officer and executive compliance officer since January 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing the resignation of the managing director\/CEO of First Bank, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, the Board of Directors has appointed Olusegun Alebiosu as the acting CEO of the 130-year-old institution\u201d, the statement partly reads.<\/p>\n

The development comes after Adesola Adeduntan tendered his resignation after a nine-year tenure as the Managing Director of First Bank.<\/p>\n
