Two persons have died while one other sustained injuries in an accident at Iyana Odogo, on Ilaro-Owode Road, Ogun State.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in Ogun, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday.<\/p>\n
Okpe explained that the accident occurred at 6:00 pm and involved a Mitsubishi car marked JJJ 854 JH and a truck with registration number T12224LA.<\/p>\n
According to her, a total number of seven people were involved, which comprised four men and three women.<\/p>\n
\u201dOne woman got injured while two men were killed in the crash.<\/p>\n
\u201dThe suspected causes of the crash were obstruction and speed violation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The FRSC spokesperson said the injured victim and the deceased were taken to General Hospital, Ilaro.<\/p>\n
The Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, advised motorists to drive within the stipulated speed limit and always obey traffic rules and regulations.<\/p>\n
