Nigerian singer Augustine Obiabo Amedu, popularly known as Blackface, has accused his colleague, Shallipopi, of intellectual property theft.<\/p>\n
The former Plantashun Boiz members claimed that Shallipopi sampled his song \u2018Enemy Plan\u2019 in his recently released debut album \u2018Shakepopi\u2019 without his permission.<\/p>\n
Sharing a video on his Instagram page on Sunday, Blackface queried if Nigerian artists can\u2019t sing without copying his sound or melody.<\/p>\n
He wrote in pidgin, \u201cUna mean say if them no copy my sound or my melody them no go get song to sing? Ok I don make remix for una so make una better abandon this una project.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shallipopi is yet to react to the allegation.<\/p>\n
