Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has suggested that Chelsea\u2019s Cole Palmer is a better overall footballer than Arsenal\u2019s Bukayo Saka.<\/p>\n

Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer, scored a hat-trick on Thursday night against Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Speaking about Palmer and Saka, Murphy told TalkSPORT that Palmer has more goals than Saka.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got more goals than Saka. Look, don\u2019t get me wrong; I love Saka and he\u2019s a right winger out and out, Palmer\u2019s kind of playing there as a 10. But his all around game (Palmer\u2019s) you could argue is better,\u201d Murphy said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not saying he\u2019s a better right-winger than Saka but his all-round footballing ability, in terms of passing, linking, dropping in, because Saka doesn\u2019t play that role as he does, so it\u2019s not a fully fair comparison.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cBut I don\u2019t see why it\u2019s not an argument to have that he can\u2019t take the place of anyone in the England team, apart from Bellingham, because of his numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n
