Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has expressed his belief that prayer is the key to overcoming the present hardships faced by Nigerians.<\/p>\n

He stated this at the official flagging-off of the distribution of food items to the people of the state, held at Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse.<\/p>\n

The governor, addressing the pressing issues affecting the country, underscored the importance of turning to spiritual solutions.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cIn times of difficulty, our faith and prayers can serve as a powerful force for positive change.<\/p>\n

\u201cI urge citizens to embrace a collective prayer effort, especially during the month of Ramadan to navigate through these tough times.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said various practical measures are being taken by the state and federal governments to address economic and social issues.<\/p>\n

The state commissioner for special duties, Auwalu Sankara, said the support includes the distribution of 150,0000 bags of rice, 150,000 bags of maize and 100,000 cartoons of spaghetti.<\/p>\n

He said about 648,000 persons will benefit from the support aimed at reducing the hardship caused by inflation and the removal of subsidy.<\/p>\n
