Former Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has blamed Ruben Dias for \u2018costing\u2019 Manchester City two goals during their Premier League 4-4 draw against Chelsea on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Man City were denied a late victory after Rodri\u2019s deflected shot when Cole Palmer scored an injury-time penalty against Pep Guardiola\u2019s side to rescue a point for Chelsea.<\/p>\n

The penalty arose after Dias recklessly brought down Chelsea\u2019s Armando Broja in the box, which resulted in a penalty during the encounter.<\/p>\n

However, Owen believed that the Portuguese centre-back was particularly to blame and cost his team on more than one occasion.<\/p>\n

\u201cSliding on his backside cost them two goals \u2013 the penalty at the end and that [Jackson\u2019s goal],\u201d Owen told Premier League Productions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt the ball was nowhere near him really and he\u2019s sliding for some reason. If he stays on his feet, he actually gets to the ball before Jackson does.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, he [Dias] could argue if it\u2019s going in the other corner, he blocks it [by sliding] but he can block it by standing up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goalkeeper should parry it to the side, but he\u2019s in front of him, he\u2019s way in front of Jackson, if he stands on his feet\u2026 it is twice he went down and twice he cost them a goal.\u201d<\/p>\n
