Nigeria\u2019s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on Monday arrived Enugu State to inaugurate some projects.<\/p>\n

Shettima, who arrived the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu at 9.52 am with a Presidential Jet 5N-FGW, was received by Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu Enugu, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi.<\/p>\n

Others are Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Secretary to the Federal Government, Anyim Pius Anyim, traditional rulers, government officials and many Southeast dignitaries.<\/p>\n

The visit is Shettima\u2019s first to the Southeast since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.<\/p>\n

He is expected to attend the Southeast Business Roundtable and the formal launch of the Southeast phase of the Light Up Nigeria Project.<\/p>\n

The VP is also expected to inaugurate the Aba Integrated Power Project floated by Geometric Power Limited.<\/p>\n
