The Nigeria National League, NNL, has reassured that more matches would be televised
\nin the second stanza of the current season.<\/p>\n
The NNL Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Attah disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja.<\/p>\n
Attah said the NNL has concluded plans to bring more matches live on Global TV.<\/p>\n
\u2018In the first stanza, we took matches live from Abuja and some other venues like Lagos and Enugu.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the second stanza, more of our matches will come live and we intend to go to more venues,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe say a big thank you to our partners Global TV for sharing in our vision of putting the league on TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor now, there is no money accruing to the league but our vision is to keep making the league more competitive and attractive to potential sponsors.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody can see that the NNL this season is running very well. Clubs are winning on the road and virtually all matches have been played without any violence.<\/p>\n
\u201cOfficiating has been good. Our appeal is that corporate Nigerians should back this laudable efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n
