The People\u2019s Redemption Party, PRP, has called on the Federal Government to tackle the economic hardship and worsening security challenges in the country.<\/p>\n
The Acting PRP National Publicity Secretary, Mr Muhammed Ishaq, said this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.<\/p>\n
It is quite disheartening to see the All Progressives Congress, APC, led government resort to baseless accusations and fear-mongering in an attempt to deflect attention from the legitimate concerns raised by the Nigerian people.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe protests in Minna and Kano were not orchestrated by opposition parties but rather grassroots expressions of frustration and dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in the country.<\/p>\n
According to him, instead of labelling the protesters as pawns of the opposition, the government should listen to their grievances and work toward addressing the root causes of the discontent.<\/p>\n
Ishaq said it was only through dialogue and genuine engagement that a lasting solution to the country\u2019s challenges can be found.<\/p>\n
He said Nigerians deserved better than empty rhetoric and false accusations.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet us come together as a nation to work towards a brighter and more prosperous future for all.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe in the PRP are not for any gang up against the APC administrations that have ruined rather than ruled this country for the last decade,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
