Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declared himself a regen of the late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.<\/p>\n

He said his fans gave him the title \u201cnewborn Fela\u201d and he reckoned with it.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the latest episode of the Bae U Barbi show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, Portable said: \u201cI didn\u2019t give myself the title, \u2018Newborn Fela.\u2019 My fans gave it to me. You know I have a lot of fans, my fans brought me to this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormally, you have to be bold, a lion don\u2019t fear to walk alone.\u201d<\/p>\n
