Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has said a 1-0 victory will be enough for his side to get past the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Peseiro\u2019s side was guilty of wasting several scoring chances in their three group-stage games at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles scraped through the group stage scoring two goals, one from open play.<\/p>\n

Much was expected from the team going by the array of attacking talents at the gaffer\u2019s disposal.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles will now need to up their performance with the competition now at the knockout stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least one goal, we\u2019ll attack well and defend together, you do that and we win,\u201d the former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela coach said at a pre-match press briefing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have studied many of the matches between both teams but our objective is to win the match.\u201d<\/p>\n

The winner of the Round of 16 tie will face either Angola or Namibia in the quarter-final.<\/p>\n
