Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen insists he is not under pressure to make a mark at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

Osimhen has scored one goal in two appearances for Nigeria in the competition.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old has fluffed several clear-cut chances as well.<\/p>\n

Many have attributed that to the pressure of his status as Africa\u2019s current best player.<\/p>\n

The striker has, however, debunked the claim stating that he is more focused on helping the Super Eagles achieve success in Cote d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not under pressure,\u201d Osimhen told reporters in Abidjan.
\n\u201cI have won the title (African Player of the Year), but it\u2019s now in the past.
\n\u201cWhat is most important for me now is to do well with the team, make sure the team do well and win the AFCON.
\n\u201cI don\u2019t care about my individual performance. I could be on the bench and the other players get the job done.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles will take on Guinea-Bissau in their last group game at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
