Alex Iwobi hopes to emulate his uncle, Austin Jay Jay Okocha by winning the African Cup of Nations, AFCON, title.<\/p>\n
Okocha was part of the Super Eagles side that won the AFCON in Tunisia in 1994.<\/p>\n
Iwobi came close to matching the former midfielder\u2019s feat when the Super Eagles made it to semi-finals five years ago in Egypt but they were eliminated by eventual winners Algeria.<\/p>\n
With the Super Eagles set to compete again at Cote d\u2019Ivoire 2023, the Fulham man is desperate to have his hand around trophy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know my uncle has won it, and I\u2019d like to have one to my name as well,\u201d the former Everton player told BeIN Sports.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously, we have the quality to do so, and hopefully we can do that, and I want to brag to him as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
