Videos of a junior-ranking military man hauling abuses at the governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for arresting and abusing one of their colleagues while driving against traffic in the state have emerged.<\/p>\n

In the viral video, Sanwo Olu was seen asking his security details to run after some motorcyclists said to be riding against traffic.<\/p>\n

One of the arrested persons, however, told the governor that he was a soldier while the security operatives were dragging him into their vehicle.<\/p>\n

The obviously angry governor was seen vehemently ordering the arrest of the soldier.<\/p>\n

In the video, Sanw-olu said, \u201c Arrest him, arrest him! Take him into your vehicle, you are telling me you are a soldier and that is more reason I am going to lock you up. Get inside there, useless boy! you are telling me you are a soldier.\u201d<\/p>\n

The said soldier was heard saying, \u201c I am sorry sir, I am sorry sir.\u201d<\/p>\n

This action of the governor had angered the rank and files of the army causing them to express their displeasure with the governor\u2019s words against the soldier.<\/p>\n

In two of the videos sighted by this reporter, the soldiers raged at the governor for calling the soldier useless, insisting that the arrested soldier had fought for the country and broke his arm in the process.<\/p>\n

In one of the videos, a soldier whose name wasn\u2019t mentioned, in anger blasted the governor saying,\u201d You are calling a soldier useless but when you want to do your dirty work you use the soldiers.\u201d<\/p>\n
