We will intensify security in Dansadau emirate – Zamfara NSCDC

The Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, has promised to provide the Dansadau Emirate with all the security it needs.

The Commandant, Sani Mustapha made the pledge when the Emir of Dansadau, Garba MS Kudu paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Gusau.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Corps spokesman, Ikor Oche SC.

“Acknowledging the vulnerability of the Dansadau Emirate to brigandage, Commandant Mustapha reiterated that NSCDC, Zamfara State Command was ready to upgrade the already existing outpost at Dansadau to a full fledge Divisional Office”, the statement added.

”The State NSCDC boss assured the Royal father of the readiness of the Corps to give maximum support and collaboration with the Nigeria Armed Forces to curb the lingering wave of insecurity in the area.

Speaking earlier, Kudu, the Emir of Dansadau, Garba MS Kudu eulogized the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity in the State.

The monarch said he has decided to pay a visit to the Corps to rejuvenate and revamp the confidence his Emirate Council has hitherto built in the Corps.

He urged the officers and men of the Corps not to relent in their good approaches to security issues in the state which has been the trademark of the Corps.

He also solicited concerted efforts to clear the relics of hoodlums and miscreants terrorising the Dansadau enclave in a no-distant time.
