Warri Wolves captain, Austin Oboroakpo, says his side must come out like a wounded Lion in their match against FC One Rocket.
Oboroakpo insisted that the Seasiders want maximum points from the game following their recent back to back loss in the Nigeria National League.
The veteran defender expressed determination that the team is still on course for a promotion to the topflight.
“We are still very focused on our target for the season, which is to gain promotion,” he told the club’s media.
“We believe that against all odds, we will work towards it, our loss at home was a big blow for us, we did not see it coming, but that is football for you. We are now more desperately focused on the future.
“We are desperate about our three points at home today. We are not giving up, we have picked a point away from home this Season and we can still do more”
“But it is very important we start with this three points in our first home match for the year. ”
Warri Wolves will battle FC One Rocket at the Kwale Township Stadium.
