Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor says the team’s target is to secure maximum points against Remo Stars.
Offor asked the club’s supporters to expect an interesting game between both sides.
“The last time we met was a very entertaining one. We performed well but unfortunately conceded late. Right now, our focus is on this game and we want to ensure we get the maximum points,” he told the club’s media.
“We are not focused on creating or breaking records; just on getting the win.
“Remo Stars and Sporting Lagos have created a bit of history from the times we have faced — in the Naija Super 8 and the league match at Ikenne.
“These games have been end-to-end showing that both teams are attacking-minded with a clear philosophy and structure.
“I think the fans should expect an end-to-end encounter and the team that makes fewer mistakes while converting their chances will go with the victory. We will cut out mistakes and take our chances.”
Sporting Lagos will host Remo Stars in a Southwest derby clash at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Sunday(today).
