Williams Peter have terminated his contract with Nigeria Premier Football League side, Akwa United.
The enterprising forward has found first team football hard to come by with the Promise Keepers which prompted his decision to leave the club.
He failed to record a goal in seven NPFL appearances for the Uyo club.
Williams joined Akwa United from Kano Pillars at the start of the 2023-24 NPFL season.
He signed a one-year contract with the former NPFL champions.
Williams played a crucial role in Kano Pillars’ promotion to the topflight last season.
He started his professional career with Remo Stars.
