Kylian Mbappe scored his first Real Madrid goal as they defeated Atalanta 2-0 in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night.
The France captain was handed a start on debut, following his move from Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent.
There were no goals in the first half as both teams struggled to dominate the game.
But Federico Valverde found himself unmarked in the box to tap in, after great work from Vinicius Junior.
Moments later, Mbappe strode onto Jude Bellingham’s pass to take the game beyond doubt.
Real Madrid have now won the UEFA Super Cup for a record sixth time.
