Udo Mariam: Kidnappers demand 30 Million NAIRA for Akwa Ibom popular Xylophonist (Details)

Kidnappers of the Nigerian xylophonist, Udo Mariam have demanded a ransom of 30 million Naira before his release and have given Monday, October 23, 2023 as deadline.

The information was revealed by his wife, after a recent communication with his abductors.

The iconic xylophone star of the 90s, Chief Udo Mariam, real names Ofonime Felix Okon was kidnapped around Kogi on his way to Abuja on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from a vehicle he boarded at Terminal 3, Itam Motor Park.

Giving the information during a chat in Uyo, his wife, Mrs Oluchi Ofoninme Okon cried for help from well-meaning Akwa Ibomites and Nigerians to come to his rescue, she confessed that she is in severe pains and trauma following his kidnap last week.
